BREAKING: Zeek Woodley (NSU), who averaged 19.2 ppg last year on 50.8% shooting and 43.5% from 3, to attend the PBC. In his freshman year, he was fourth nationally in FG percentage (61.7), which was the highest by a guard or a freshman, and best in the Southland Conference. He averaged 13.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and was named Southland Conference Freshman of the Year. In his sophomore year, he was 2nd nationally with 22.2 points per game and was named Southland Conference Men’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Year. He was 27th nationally in FG percentage (56.0), and was the only player under 6-4 in the NCAA top 50. These past two years, Woodley stood out nationally. Entering his junior season, he was the nation’s leading returning scorer, and tied his scoring output putting up 22.2 points a game. His senior season, he shot 43.5% from 3 and averaged 19.2 ppg.
