BREAKING: Maverick Rowan (NC State) to Participate in the 2018 Professional Basketball Combine5/16/2018 BREAKING: Maverick Rowan (NC State) to attend the PBC presented by HFactor. He made 134 3s in two years with the Wolfpack. As a freshman with NC State, Roman put up impressive numbers by averaging 12.9 PPG and 3.1 RPG. He ranked fifth in the ACC with 2.45 made 3-pointers per game and his 426 points ranked third all-time at NC State for a freshman. His sophomore year, Rowan became a much more efficient player increasing his shooting percentage from 36% to 43%. After his sophomore campaign, Maverick decided to leave NC State in pursuit of a professional basketball career. After going through the pre draft process, Rowan decided to withdraw from the draft and play professionally making him eligible for the 2018 NBA Draft. Following his withdrawal from the draft, Rowan landed with the Lakeland Magic and was picked 3rd overall in the G-League draft. In a March matchup against the Oklahoma City Blue, Rowan went for a career high 22 points, adding on 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal to round out his outstanding night.
