There are hundreds of jobs related to professional basketball, and this program is designed to give you a glimpse into some of those career paths with three days of in-depth Q&As and classroom-style instruction with NBA front-office executives, agents, scouts and media members.
Attendees will also get a chance to take part in the Professional Basketball Combine as a VIP attendee with access to players, agents, executives, scouts and media at the Mamba Sports Academy in Thousand Oaks, CA. This program is one-part classroom, one-part hands-on instruction and, most importantly, attendees will get to build relationships with many people who work in or around the NBA. The cost of this program is $950 for just the three-day event (lodging and food not included) or $1,450 for the complete experience (which includes lodging at the Palm Garden Hotel and most meals*). Attendees are responsible for their own travel. |

“I have already been experiencing benefits from that experience, and been given opportunities and interviews I never would have gotten before. Confidence may be the biggest takeaway, but multiple people have told me they saw my experience at the combine on my application and felt I deserved the opportunity to have an interview.”
- Garrett Brooks “Basketball 101 was a great opportunity for me to learn from a variety of professional basketball industry leaders. We were able to talk to agents, coaches, trainers, front office personnel, and media members. The most important aspect of conversing with those professionals were the connections we made. I'm so glad I took part in Basketball 101.” - James Fox, Scouting Intern at PBC |
“Basketball 101 is a program like no other. Small and intimate settings where you can speak to and learn from players, agents, executives, and coaches.”
- Ben Stinar, NBA Writer at Amico Hoops |
