BREAKING: Aleksa Radanov (Crvena zvezda) Selected as 2020 Professional Basketball Combine Honoree11/5/2020 BREAKING: Aleksa Radanov (KK Crvena zvezda) has been selected as a 2020 Professional Basketball Combine honoree. The Belgrade, Serbia native has been a part of the Red Star club system since 2013 (with loan stints to FMP Beograd) and warrants draft-and-stash consideration as an auto-eligible prospect with a nice combination of size, athleticism, hustle, and shot-making on the wing. Radanov's first prominent opportunities to put himself on the radar as a prospect were with the KK Crvena Zvezda U18 team at the Adidas Next Generation Tournament, with the Serbian national team at the U16 Euro Championship A, and via invitation to the 2014 Adidas EuroCamp. He followed that up with an All-Tournament Team selection at the following Adidas Next Generation Tournament and some solid performances in subsequent FIBA Junior Team Events.
Radanov has bounced back-and-forth between Crvena zvezda and FMP Beograd the past few seasons, getting more significant run and developmental freedom alongside other rising prospects with the latter, while learning the ropes on one of the best teams in the world with the former. This past season, Radanov earned Adriatic League Liga ABA October MVP honors and proved to be a reliable, efficient scoring option by bolstering a healthy 61+ TS% for the second consecutive season. We are excited to welcome Aleksa Radanov to the PBC family and look forward to all of his future success in professional basketball!
