BREAKING: Alex Robinson (TCU) will participate in the 2019 Professional Basketball Combine. Robinson spent his freshman year at Texas A&M before transferring to TCU. In his college career, Robinson averaged 9.8 PPG, 3.1 RPG, and 5.4 APG. As a freshman at Texas A&M, Robinson averaged 5.2 PPG, 2.3 RPG, and 2.6 APG. He saw action in 32 games and averaged 18.8 minutes per game as a freshman. As a sophomore at TCU, Robinson averaged 11.2 PPG, 3.1 RPG, and 5.8 APG. He was named to the Big 12 All-Newcomer Team and NIT All-Tournament Team. As a junior, Robinson averaged 9.7 PPG, 3.0 RPG, and 6.1 APG. He led his team in assists for the second year and was fourth in the Big 12. He also had 17 assists against Iowa State, setting a school record for most assists in one game. As a senior, Robinson averaged 12.5 PPG, 3.9 RPG, and 6.9 APG. He was named to the All-Big 12 Third Team and Associated Press All-Big 12 Second Team. He also had the most assists by any player and the second most minutes played by any player in one season at TCU.
