BREAKING: Anthony Lamb (Vermont) Selected as 2020 Professional Basketball Combine Honoree10/29/2020 BREAKING: Anthony Lamb (Vermont) has been selected as a 2020 Professional Basketball Combine honoree. In four seasons at Vermont, the Rochester, New York, native accumulated 1,933 points, 765 rebounds, 195 assists, 100 steals, 160 blocks, and 18.3 win-shares. Lamb, a 2x AEC Player of the Year and fifth leading scorer in Vermont history, led the conference in scoring and rebounding as a junior, as well as defensive win-shares and box plus-minus in each of the past two seasons. Throughout Lamb's career, the Catamounts won 80% of their overall games and 92% of their games in-conference.
Lamb brings a versatile skill set to the table as a modern hybrid forward. While he'll need to shore up his consistency from deep, especially in an off-ball catch-and-shoot capacity, he has proven capable of adding value in a variety of capacities on both ends of the court. Lamb is physical on the glass, led Vermont in blocked shots each of the past four seasons, can create good looks in isolation, has good shooting mechanics, and makes functional use of his strength and reported ~6'11" wingspan. We are excited to welcome Anthony Lamb to the PBC family and look forward to all of his future success in professional basketball!
