![]() BREAKING: Austin Nichols will attend the Professional Basketball Combine. He has career averages of 11 ppg on 53.7% shooting and 5 rpg. Nichols played his first two collegiate seasons at the University of Memphis. As a freshman, the 6’8’’ forward contributed immediately, appearing in 34 games. He scored 9.3 ppg and 4.3 rpg. The next season, Nichols took on a bigger role, playing more minutes per game. His scoring increased to 13.1 ppg and 6.1 rpg. After his sophomore season, Nichols transferred to the University of Virginia, where he sat out the 2015-2016 season as a redshirt. As a redshirt Junior, Nichols only appeared in one game this past season for Virginia before leaving the program. He has been preparing for the NBA draft and to play professionally since leaving. Austin is represented by Aaron Turner of Verus Management Team.
