He averaged 15.8 ppg, 5.1 rpg, and shot 40% from 3. After a breakout sophomore season at James Madison University where he averaged 14.8 ppg, Cooke drew interest from high-major schools, and decided Dayton was the best fit. After redshirting the 2014-2015 season, Cooke made an immediate impact on the court for the Flyers. His first season on the court at Dayton, he led the team with an average of 15.6 ppg. He scored 20 or more points on 12 occasions in 2015-16 and led Dayton in scoring in 18 games. At the end of the year, he was named First Team All-Atlantic 10 and Atlantic 10 All-Defensive Team. The following year, Cooke led the Flyers in scoring for the second straight year as well as leading the team in rebounds with 5.8 per game. He was named Second Team All-Atlantic 10 and Atlantic 10 All-Defensive Team. After leading the Flyers to the Tournament the last 2 seasons, Cooke is looking to continue his career professionally.
