BREAKING: Desmond Bane (TCU) will participate in the 2019 Professional Basketball Combine. In three seasons with the Horned Frogs, Bane averaged 11.5 PPG, 4.2 RPG, and 1.9 APG. As a freshman who started a third of the season, Bane averaged 7.1 PPG, 2.9 RPG, and 1.0 APG. As a sophomore, Bane averaged 12.5 PPG, 4.1 RPG, and 2.5 APG and led the Big 12 in three point shooting at 46.1%. He became the first TCU player to lead the conference in 3-point shooting since Ryan Carroll in 1998-1999. As a junior, Bane averaged 15.2 PPG, 5.7 RPG, and 2.4 APG. He was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team. He also, led the Big 12 with 35.5 minutes played per game and played 1,315 minutes, the most in a season in program history. Bane ranked fourth in the Big 12 in scoring average at 15.2 points per game, the most by a TCU player since Kyan Anderson in 2013-14.
