BREAKING: Jake Toolson (Brigham Young) Selected as 2020 Professional Basketball Combine Honoree11/3/2020 BREAKING: Jake Toolson (Brigham Young) has been selected as a 2020 Professional Basketball Combine honoree. In two-plus seasons at BYU and two seasons at Utah Valley, the Arizona native accumulated 1,492 points, 517 rebounds, 327 assists, 87 steals, 28 blocks, and 14.6 win-shares. Toolson began his career at BYU, transferred to Utah Valley and blossomed into the WAC Player of the Year and an AP All-American Honorable Mention, then returned to BYU this season as a grad-transfer.
Toolson, nephew of Celtics GM / President of Basketball Operations Danny Ainge, is a knockdown shooter and has been a highly efficient scorer throughout his collegiate career, with a career true-shooting percentage of 62.9%. This season was Toolson's most impressive from a volume x efficiency perspective from deep, knocking down 47% of his threes on 9.7 3PA's per 100 possessions.
