BREAKING: Rayshaun Hammonds (Georgia) has been selected as a 2020 Professional Basketball Combine honoree. In three seasons at Georgia, the Norcross, Georgia native and former top-50 recruit accumulated 974 points, 571 rebounds, 138 assists, 66 steals, and 31 blocks before submitting his name as a 2020 NBA Draft early entrant.
Hammonds, a three-year starter for the Bulldogs, is remarkably coordinated and fluid at his size. He excels with grab-and-go opportunities where he snags a defensive board and leads the break with impressive open-court handling and finishing acumen.
Hammonds has also shown flashes of perimeter shot-making, touch on floaters, and a knack for creating second-chance opportunities on the offensive glass. With many offensive tools, the ability to guard 3-5, and enticing upside with his combo of skill/size, Hammonds should warrant serious RD2/two-way consideration.
We are excited to welcome Rayshaun Hammonds to the PBC family and look forward to all of his future success in professional basketball!
