BREAKING: Ty Cockfield (Arkansas State) to Participate in 2019 Professional Basketball Combine

BREAKING: Ty Cockfield (Arkansas State) will participate in the 2019 Professional Basketball Combine. Cockfield spent his freshman year at Stetson, his sophomore year at Georgia Highlands College, and his junior and senior years at Arkansas State. From the minute Cockfield arrived at Arkansas State, he was a major force. As a junior, Cockfield averaged 14.9 PPG, 2.8 RPG, and 2.0 APG. He was second on the team in scoring, third on the team in assists, and led the team in three-point field goals made. As a senior, Cockfield averaged 22.4 PPG, 3.6 RPG, and 3.2 APG. He was named to the All-Sun Belt Second Team and he also led the league in points per game. We are excited to welcome Ty Cockfield to the 2019 PBC and look forward to seeing him compete!

BREAKING: Alex Robinson (TCU) will participate in the 2019 Professional Basketball Combine. Robinson spent his freshman year at Texas A&M before transferring to TCU. In his college career, Robinson averaged 9.8 PPG, 3.1 RPG, and 5.4 APG. As a freshman at Texas A&M, Robinson averaged 5.2 PPG, 2.3 RPG, and 2.6 APG. He saw action in 32 games and averaged 18.8 minutes per game as a freshman. As a sophomore at TCU, Robinson averaged 11.2 PPG, 3.1 RPG, and 5.8 APG. He was named to the Big 12 All-Newcomer Team and NIT All-Tournament Team. As a junior, Robinson averaged 9.7 PPG, 3.0 RPG, and 6.1 APG. He led his team in assists for the second year and was fourth in the Big 12. He also had 17 assists against Iowa State, setting a school record for most assists in one game. As a senior, Robinson averaged 12.5 PPG, 3.9 RPG, and 6.9 APG. He was named to the All-Big 12 Third Team and Associated Press All-Big 12 Second Team. He also had the most assists by any player and the second most minutes played by any player in one season at TCU. BREAKING: Desmond Bane (TCU) will participate in the 2019 Professional Basketball Combine. In three seasons with the Horned Frogs, Bane averaged 11.5 PPG, 4.2 RPG, and 1.9 APG. As a freshman who started a third of the season, Bane averaged 7.1 PPG, 2.9 RPG, and 1.0 APG. As a sophomore, Bane averaged 12.5 PPG, 4.1 RPG, and 2.5 APG and led the Big 12 in three point shooting at 46.1%. He became the first TCU player to lead the conference in 3-point shooting since Ryan Carroll in 1998-1999. As a junior, Bane averaged 15.2 PPG, 5.7 RPG, and 2.4 APG. He was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team. He also, led the Big 12 with 35.5 minutes played per game and played 1,315 minutes, the most in a season in program history. Bane ranked fourth in the Big 12 in scoring average at 15.2 points per game, the most by a TCU player since Kyan Anderson in 2013-14. BREAKING: Matt McQuaid (Michigan State) will participate in the 2019 Professional Basketball Combine. In four seasons with the Spartans, McQuaid averaged 6.3 PPG, 1.9 RPG, and 1.6 APG. As a freshman, he ranked fourth on the team in assists and played double digit minutes in 32 out of 35 games. As a sophomore, McQuaid averaged 5.6 PPG, 1.9 RPG, and 1.2 APG. He started 11 out of the 34 games he appeared in and was named a co-recipient of MSU’s Best Defensive Player Award. As a junior, McQuaid averaged 6.0 PPG, 1.9 RPG, and 1.3 APG. He was once again named co-recipient of MSU’s Best Defensive Player Award. He was also sixth on the team in scoring and third on the team in three-point field goals made. As a senior, McQuaid averaged 9.8 PPG, 3.0 RPG, and 2.1 APG. He was named to the Big Ten All-Defense Team and an Honorable Mention for the All-Big Ten Team. BREAKING: Kevin McClain (Belmont) to Participate in 2019 Professional Basketball Combine

BREAKING: Kevin McClain (Belmont) will participate in the 2019 Professional Basketball Combine. In four seasons with the Bruins, McClain averaged 10.0 PPG, 2.5 RPG, and 2.0 APG. As a freshman, McClain averaged 5.4 PPG and 1.3 RPG. As a sophomore, McClain averaged 4.6 PPG, 1.3 RPG, and 1.1 APG. He appeared in 32 games and had six double figure scoring games. McClain showed great improvement in his junior year when he averaged 12.6 PPG, 3.8 RPG, and 2.1 APG. He scored his then career-high 27 points vs. Houston Baptist and dropped 25 points at Morehead State. As a senior, McClain stepped up and averaged 16.8 PPG, 3.6 RPG, and 3.9 APG. He was a leader on a Belmont team that surprised a lot of people. He was named to the 2018-2019 All-OVC First Team and and 2019 All-OVC Tournament first team. McClain stands 11th on Belmont's NCAA Division I era career scoring list with 1,279 points. We are excited to welcome Kevin McClain to the 2019 PBC and look forward to seeing him compete!

BREAKING: Hassani Gravett (South Carolina) will participate in the 2019 Professional Basketball Combine. Prior to South Carolina, Gravett spent one season at Pensacola State College where he averaged 16.1 PPG, 7.1 RPG and 3.8 APG and earned Panhandle Conference Player of the Year accolades. He then transferred to South Carolina, and in his three seasons with the Gamecocks, Gravett averaged 7.2 PPG, 3.0 RPG, and 2.4 APG. As a sophomore, Gravett averaged 3.2 PPG, 1.6 RPG, and 1.4 APG. He saw action in all five NCAA Tournament contests. As a junior, Gravett averaged 7.4 PPG, 3.6 RPG, and 3.6 APG. As a senior, Gravett averaged 11.4 PPG, 3.8 RPG, and 2.4 APG. He was named the SEC Sixth Man of the Year, providing a spark off the bench for South Carolina all year. BREAKING: D’Marcus Simonds (Georgia State) will participate in the 2019 Professional Basketball Combine. In three seasons with the Panthers, Simonds averaged 17.9 PPG, 5 RPG and 3.4 APG. As a freshman, Simonds averaged 13.4 PPG, 4.0 RPG and 2.0 APG. He was named Sun Belt Freshman of the Year and to the All-Sun Belt Third Team. As a sophomore, Simonds averaged 21.2 PPG, 5.7 RPG, and 4.4 APG. He was named Sun Belt Player of the Year and All-Sun Belt First-Team to go along with Sun Belt Conference Tournament MVP. He started all 35 games while averaging a Sun Belt-best and school-record 21.2 points per game, which also ranked No. 23 in the nation. He also, put up the first triple-double in program history. As a junior, Simonds averaged 18.4 PPG, 5 RPG, and 3.6 APG. He was named to the All-Sun Belt First Team and the All-Sun Belt Tournament First Team. Simonds led the Panthers to their second Sun Belt Tournament Championship and NCAA Tournament in a row. BREAKING: Kenny Williams (UNC) will participate in the 2019 Professional Basketball Combine. In four seasons with the Tar Heels, Williams started in 94 games, won a National Championship, and had averages of 7.1 PPG, 2.9 RPG, and 2.1 APG. Williams has been the Tar Heels' unsung hero throughout his career in Chapel Hill. Despite being overshadowed by the wave of blue chip recruits and surefire NBA prospects that he’s shared the floor with for the past four years, Williams is an intriguing prospect and will warrant serious looks this summer as he begins his pro career. As a junior, Williams averaged 11.4 PPG, 3.7 RPG, and 2.4 APG. He was fourth on the team in scoring, second on the team in three-point percentage, and second on the team in three pointers made. He also led the team with 10 defensive player of the game awards. As a senior, Williams averaged 8.6 PPG, 3.9 RPG, and 3.5 APG. We are excited to welcome Kenny Williams to the 2019 PBC and look forward to seeing him compete!

BREAKING: Isaiah Reese (Canisius) will participate in the 2019 Professional Basketball Combine. He was the first recruit to sign on under new Canisius head coach Reggie Witherspoon. In his three seasons at Canisius, Reese averaged 11.9 PPG, 5.1 RPG and 4 APG. As a freshman he averaged 7.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game. He led Canisius with 46 steals, which was the most for a Canisius freshman since 2006-07. In Reese’s sophomore season, he led Canisius in rebounding average with 5.8 RPG, assists average with 4.7 APG, steals average with 2.2 SPG, 3-point field goal makes with 83 and minutes per game with 33.4. Reese ranked seventh in the MAAC in scoring average with 16.9 PPG. He became the first Canisius sophomore since 1993-94 to earn All-MAAC First Team honors. As a junior, Reese played in 20 games and averaged 11.8 PPG, 5.9 RPG, and 4.4 APG. We are excited to welcome Isaiah Reese to the 2019 PBC and look forward to seeing him compete!

BREAKING: KeVaughn Allen (Florida) to participate in 2019 Professional Basketball Combine. In four seasons with the Florida Gators, Allen averaged 12.1 PPG, 2.6 RPG, and 1.9 APG. He finished his career as Florida’s No. 6 all-time leading scorer with 1,723 points. Allen is Florida’s all-time leading free throw shooter, connecting at an 88% rate for his career. As a freshman, Allen averaged 11.6 PPG, 2.7 RPG, and 1.6 APG. He was named to the 2016 SEC All-Freshman Team. As a sophomore Allen averaged 14 PPG, 2.4 RPG, and 1.5 APG. He was named a First-Team All-SEC honoree, the first Gator sophomore to earn the distinction since Kenny Boynton in 2011-12. He was also named to the NCAA Tournament All-East Regional Team after posting a career-best 35 in the Sweet 16 win vs. Wisconsin. As a junior, Allen averaged 11 PPG, 2.4 RPG, and 2.4 APG. He had three 20-point games and nine games with at least three made 3-pointers. As a senior, Allen helped the Gators to a third straight NCAA Tournament bid and fourth consecutive 20-win season. He averaged 11.8 PPG, 2,8 RPG, and 2.1 APG in his final season. He also led the SEC shooting 89% from the free throw line.
