BREAKING: Egor Koulechov (Florida) to Participate in the 2018 Professional Basketball Combine5/14/2018 BREAKING: Egor Koulechov (Florida) to participate in the 2018 Professional Basketball Combine presented by HFactor. Koulechov began his career at Arizona State where he played sparingly before transferring to Rice, sitting out the 2014-2015 season per NCAA transfer rules. In two seasons with the Owls, Koulechov averaged 17.5 PPG, 8 RPG, and 1.3 APG, shooting at a 39.8% clip from 3pt range while starting all 67 games. In November of the 2016-2017 season Koulechov set his career high in scoring against Incarnate Word with 35 points, and added 13 rebounds. Following the 2016-2017 season, Koulechov earned a spot on the first-team All-Conference USA. Koulechov then proceeded to transfer to the University of Florida where he averaged of 13.8 PPG, 6.4 RPG, and 1.2 APG while shooting 39.8% from 3pt range. In the Gators lone matchup against Ole Miss, Koulechov went for a season high 11 rebounds, adding 11 points, 3 assists, and 3 steals in a losing effort to the Rebels. In the Gators 2 NCAA tournament games, Koulechov averaged 16 PPG and 5 RPG to help the Gators continue their post season success.
